O Allah! Send down such mercy upon our master Muhammad (peace be upon him) that You may deliver us from all kinds of troubles and calamities, fulfill all our needs, purify us from all evils, elevate our status with You, and make us attain the ultimate limit of every goodness in life and after death.
Why is Durood Tanjina named “Tanjina”?
“Tanjina” is derived from the Arabic word “najaat,” meaning “to save, to deliver.” This Durood repeatedly mentions “Tunjina Biha” (deliver us from it), hence it is called “Durood Tanjina.” In some places, it is also written as “Salatul Tanjina” or “Durood Tanjina.”
