5 Most Effective Duas For Pregnancy In One Month
When my hopes were about to break, a prayer held my hand…
I am a common girl. My name is Saira. It had been three years since my marriage, and every month the same question – “When will you give the good news?” 5 Most Effective Duas For Pregnancy.
Initially I kept laughing it off. Then the questions started to hurt. People’s words, relatives’ looks, and most of all… my mother’s sadness.
I even consulted doctors, got tests done, and tried every remedy – desi, videshi, homemade, ayurvedic… everything! But the result? Disappointment every month. That heart-breaking test report – “Negative”.
Then one day I met an old lady. A very calm, bright face. She looked into my eyes and said just this –
“Daughter, you just have to ask Allah. Medicine is necessary, but prayer is more than that.”
From there my life started changing.
Let’s talk about those 5 most effective prayers that became gifts for me. Maybe some doors will open for you too.
- Dua of Syedna Zakaria (A.S.) – The most beloved dua of the Quran
“
(Surah Al-Imran: 38)
“Grant me a righteous child from You, surely You are the Hearer of prayers.”
I read this dua 11 times every day after namaaz. From the heart, with tears, like a child asks for chocolate from his mother. It is critical to recognize the distinction between pleading and requesting. If Allah wishes, He can give everything in a moment. You just have to have faith.
The foundation of all prayers is Suratul Fatiha.
Have you ever wondered, why do we read Suratul Fatiha in every prayer? Because it is a prayer. Read it and then state your problem.
I used to say –
“O Allah! Just like you have given me everything till date, please give me a child too. My lap is empty, my nights are lonely, my Lord – I have hope only from you.”
Never read it out loud, just in the heart. Any time – in the kitchen, while bathing, while sitting in the bus. Just talk to your Allah.
Ya Mujibu – The name of Allah who hears every call
“The one who hears the call” is what “Ya Mujibu” signifies.
Read it 500 times daily, after Fajr or Isha.
On the very first day, I felt as if something was breaking inside… dissolving… and then every day I felt a strange peace. As if the heart was getting cleansed.
Ask yourself – am I asking with a true heart? Am I sure? Then see how patience and peace come together.
Ayat-e-Karima – When all the roads are closed
“لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ”
(Surah Al-Anbiya: 87)
This is the prayer of Hazrat Yunus (AS) when he was trapped in the stomach of a fish. Just think – stomach of a fish, darkness, depth of the ocean – and Allah took him out of there too.
So why should we be disappointed? I used to recite it 100 times daily. Every time I read it, I confessed my failures, my mistakes. And then… a soft light would enter my heart.
Suratul Maryam – The face of every woman’s heart
The whole Surat is the story of Maryam (as) – pain, hope, and miracle.
Read it daily, especially from the 9th to the 21st day (ovulation phase).
I read it every day and would say –
“O Allah, you are the only one who can bear me a child; you gave Maryam a kid without a man.”
While reading, feel – as if Allah is sitting in front of you, and you are telling him your biggest wish.
Now listen to a secret…
Faith is necessary along with prayer. I had made a small diary. I wrote every prayer in it, ticked every day – and every day wrote – “I believe.”
And then?
Allah filled my womb too.
Will you also try? It is possible that you have started reading this article just like that, but now your heart is saying – “I will also ask.”
So ask. From today, from now.
Anytime, anywhere. Just from the heart.
What to do with prayers? – Change the system of life
A prayer is not just words. It is a message from your heart to Allah. But think – do you pray and then let everything go on as it is?
I understood that only prayers will not do, you will have to make changes in your lifestyle too.
So what did I do?
Decreased stress: Indeed, stress is pregnancy’s worst enemy. I took leave from work, read books, listened to light songs, and made Namaaz a part of my daily routine.
Got enough sleep: Earlier I used to sleep for 5 hours, now I slept for 8 hours.
Made food healthy: Stopped eating market food, fresh vegetables, fruits, dry fruits.
Increased love for husband: This is very important. We spent time together and prayed together.
I would occasionally ask myself, “What is the benefit?” But when I was patient, then the effect was visible.
Husband-wife togetherness – the biggest prayer
I have often seen – if pregnancy does not happen, both start blaming each other.
“There is something lacking in you.”
“It is not happening because of you.”
Don’t do this. Me and my husband supported each other. We went to the mosque holding hands. We cried together. And every time we said –
“Our child will come, ours.”
Husband’s support, his courage, his smile – makes the prayer stronger. Read Aayat-e-Qarsi together, surprise each other, and be thankful every day. There is power in love.
Asking is not something that can be done alone. Prayer is the balance of all together.
Prayer at which time is the most effective? – Know the right time
Prayers are heard at all times, but there are some moments when Allah himself says – “What do you want my devotee?”
So what is that time?
Tahajjud: Allah hears your call in the early hours of the morning when everyone else is asleep. I started waking up at 3:30 AM every day.
Friday: The time after Friday prayers is very auspicious. That day I read “Ya Mujibu” 100 times.
After Azan: Prayers are accepted quickly after Azan.
Fix all these times. Just like you have a school class, make a time to meet Allah in the same way.
When are prayers not accepted? – Just think…
Now put your hand on your heart and ask – is there any sin hidden inside you?
Many times prayers are not accepted because we are angry, hurt someone, or develop pride in ourselves.
It happened to me too.
I used to be very annoyed with my sister-in-law because she got pregnant early. Then one day I forgave from my heart and said to Allah – “You only forgive me.”
After that day, my prayers became softer. I started enjoying talking to Allah.
So think – do you have to apologize to anyone? Have you violated anyone’s right?
It is important to have a clean heart before praying.
If it still doesn’t happen…? – Leave the disappointment, not the wish
Now this question becomes the biggest –
“Why is not it occurring even though I have done everything?”
I too had reached that point. I cried, got angry, complained.
But then I understood – Allah’s wish is above all.
It could be that he wants you to go through some other test before becoming a mother. Or it could be that he is thinking of some other way for you.
Who knows, he is not giving you the strength to conceive, but to change the life of a helpless child?
So don’t be disheartened. Keep praying. Have faith. And most importantly – don’t stop being thankful.
Spiritual practice – when only prayers do not work
Now listen, there are some things which are not just prayers, but a special practice. An old Maulvi sahab told me about an practice, and to tell you the truth – it was like Allah increased the speed of my prayers.
What was I supposed to do?
Read “Ya Musawwiru” 41 times every night before going to sleep
After that, read Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Naas 3 times with your hand on your stomach
Then, pray to Allah for 1 minute thinking about your child
These are not just words, these are a direct relationship between you and Allah. No one else is involved in this.
What can you do? Switch off the mobile, switch off the TV, just be alone for a while and just you and your Lord.
Quranic Surahs – which become a part of the treatment of infertility
The Quran is not just for recitation, it is also a treatment. I made 3 special Surahs my medicine.
Surah Maryam – once every day
Surah Yasin – on Thursdays
After each prayer, recite Surah Al-Anbiya (Ayat 87) eleven times.
Don’t just read these Surahs, understand them. Feel how Allah gave children to women who were denied them by the whole world.
Every time I read Surah Maryam, tears would come to my eyes.
If you ever feel that you are breaking down, these Surahs will unite you again.
Patience in praying for children – You have to pass the test
Everyone wants immediate results, right?
But do you understand Allah’s timetable?
I understood that this journey is not just about getting a child, but also about improving yourself.
When I learned patience, I understood my true value.
What did I do?
Every day I said “Alhamdulillah” 100 times
At night I said “Ya Saboor” 200 times
And started writing the story of my patience in my diary
What happened? I realized that my prayers were no longer restless, but had faith.
And this is the biggest thing – faith.
Whom to share this journey with? – Choose the right people
Remember one thing – don’t tell everyone that you want to become a mother. People will make fun of you, talk behind your back, and then your heart will break.
I shared this only with my mother, husband and a friend.
What did I get?
Consolation
Without judgement
And never-ending prayers
Don’t ask for prayers from everyone. Not every person who prays is true. But the one who is true, takes your prayers to the sky.
When your prayers are accepted – understand the true meaning of Shukr
Now the most important thing is – when Allah gives you what you have asked for, what will you do?
Will you forget her?
I have not forgotten. Even today, when my daughter sleeps, I recite “Ya Wahabu”.
I praise Allah and maintain a fast on the day of her birth every year.
Why? Because I have learnt that a child is not just a reward – it is an Amanat (trust).
Getting one is a gift, and fulfilling its due is a responsibility.
The result – a new morning full of hope
Every woman wishes to become a mother. But when that wish is not fulfilled, the heart starts breaking. I too had crossed the limits of breaking down.
But today, when my baby girl smiles in my lap, I remember every prayer that I had asked for in tears.
I am telling you this story so that you know – you are not alone.
Talk to Allah. Do it again and again. Until you get tired. And then see how Allah says –
“I am going to give you something you have never seen before.”
